Please read these Terms carefully before using BaalVidya Campus. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") form a binding agreement between Baalvidy ("BaalVidya Campus", "we", "us") and the school, institution or organization ("you", "the School") that registers for or uses the BaalVidya Campus school management platform ("the Service"). By signing up, you confirm that you have authority to bind the School to these Terms.

2. Definitions

• Customer Data — all data you upload, enter or generate using the Service, including student, teacher, parent and operational records.
• Authorized Users — administrators, teachers, staff, students or parents whom you grant access to the Service.
• Subscription — your selected plan and the corresponding billing period.

3. Your Account

You must provide accurate registration details and keep them current. You are responsible for safeguarding login credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. Free Trial

We offer a 30-day free trial for new schools. No payment instrument is required to start the trial. You can cancel at any time during the trial. If you do not select a paid plan when the trial ends, your account is paused; your data is retained for 90 days during which you can reactivate or export it.

5. Subscriptions and Billing

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance based on the plan you select. Fees are stated in Indian Rupees and exclude applicable taxes (such as GST), which will be added at checkout. Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel. You may upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time; pro-rata refunds are at our discretion.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to violate any law or third-party right;
• Upload malicious code, attempt to disrupt the Service, or probe its security;
• Resell, sublicense, or share access with unauthorized parties;
• Use the Service to send spam or otherwise misuse communication features.

7. Customer Data and Ownership

You retain all rights to your Customer Data. You grant us a limited licence to host, process and display Customer Data solely to operate the Service for you. We will not access your Customer Data except to provide support you request, resolve technical issues, or comply with law.

8. Confidentiality

Each party will protect the other's confidential information using at least the same care it uses for its own confidential information, and not less than reasonable care. This obligation survives termination.

9. Intellectual Property

All rights, title and interest in the Service — including software, trademarks, design, and documentation — remain the property of BaalVidya Campus. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works of the Service.

10. Service Availability and Support

We aim to keep the Service available with minimal downtime. We may schedule maintenance windows from time to time and will provide reasonable advance notice. Standard support is available by email and phone during business hours stated on our website.

11. Modifications to the Service

We continuously improve the Service. We may add, modify, or remove features. We will not materially reduce the core functionality of your active plan during a paid term without notice.

12. Termination

You may terminate your subscription at any time from your account settings. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, fail to pay fees, or use the Service in a way that risks security, legality or platform integrity. On termination, you may export your Customer Data within 90 days, after which we may delete it.

13. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" to the extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that all defects will be corrected. We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither party will be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities. Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the fees you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold BaalVidya Campus harmless from any claim arising from your Customer Data, your use of the Service in breach of these Terms, or your violation of applicable law.

16. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Pune, Maharastra shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising out of these Terms or the Service.

17. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
