Sales intern
full-time, Remote
We are seeking a Sales intern to join our team and assist with the sales and business development efforts for our school management software as a service (SAAS) platform. This is an unpaid, 6-month internship opportunity for individuals looking to gain experience in sales and business development.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting with the development and implementation of sales strategies and tactics to increase revenue
- Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities through prospecting, lead generation and cold-calling
- Building relationships with potential customers and partners
- Assisting with the preparation of sales presentations and other materials
- Collaborating with the marketing team to develop and execute marketing campaigns
- Tracking and reporting on sales activity and progress
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date sales records and customer information
- Participating in sales meetings and training sessions
- Staying informed about industry developments, competitors, and market trends
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a business, marketing or related program
- Strong understanding of sales and business development principles
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Good written and oral communication skills
- A willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced, startup environment
- Positive attitude, high energy and self-motivation
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
- Willingness to learn and take direction
