Sales intern

full-time, Remote


We are seeking a Sales intern to join our team and assist with the sales and business development efforts for our school management software as a service (SAAS) platform. This is an unpaid, 6-month internship opportunity for individuals looking to gain experience in sales and business development.

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with the development and implementation of sales strategies and tactics to increase revenue
  • Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities through prospecting, lead generation and cold-calling
  • Building relationships with potential customers and partners
  • Assisting with the preparation of sales presentations and other materials
  • Collaborating with the marketing team to develop and execute marketing campaigns
  • Tracking and reporting on sales activity and progress
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date sales records and customer information
  • Participating in sales meetings and training sessions
  • Staying informed about industry developments, competitors, and market trends

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a business, marketing or related program
  • Strong understanding of sales and business development principles
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • A willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced, startup environment
  • Positive attitude, high energy and self-motivation
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
  • Willingness to learn and take direction
