PHP Developer

We are seeking a PHP Developer to join our team as an intern and assist with the development and maintenance of our school management software as a service (SAAS) platform. This is an unpaid, 6-month internship opportunity for individuals looking to gain experience in web development and software engineering using PHP.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting with the development and maintenance of our school management SAAS platform
• Writing and testing code using PHP and other related technologies
• Collaborating with the development team to implement new features and improve existing functionality
• Helping to design and implement user-friendly interfaces
• Assisting with the integration of the platform with other software and systems
• Building and maintaining the database
• Following best practices in software development and maintain code quality.

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a computer science or related program
• Strong understanding of web development technologies and frameworks, particularly PHP
• Familiarity with software development best practices and version control
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Good written and oral communication skills
• A willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced, startup environment
